About Me
I hold a Bachelors of Arts Degree from Bridgewater State College in Bridgewater, MA where I majored in English and Minored in Communication. I completed my Masters Degree in Rhetoric and Composition at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana where I also served as a graduate assistant teaching first year composition. In addition, I taught composition at Ivy Tech community College in Muncie. I began work on my PhD in Rhetoric and Writing at Virginia Tech and have also taught in the Universities Writing Program. I currently am a full time instructor in the English Department at Bridgewater State University in Bridgewater, MA.
My research interests include digital writing, technical and professional writing, and the assessment of multimodal compositions. Additionally, I have a great interest in rhetoric and politics, specifically campaign speeches. Personally, I like to spend my time reading, writing, painting, listening to music, watching movies, and going to concerts and the theater. Most importantly, I enjoy spending time with my husband, new son, family, friends, and mentoring students.
